Each ada_CONF has a different set of sponsors.
We look for companies who want to support knowledge sharing and believe in encouraging diversity within tech. Foo Café works to make sure that as a sponsor you feel connected to the cause and that you see the benefits of your support yourself.
Sponsorship levels range from 15 000 to 30 000 SEK, depending on the amount of visibility your brand wishes to receive.
ada_CONF is a chance to connect your company to a grassroots conference, giving minorities in tech a safe space to share what they know. The events exude a happy, inclusive atmosphere and attendees are grateful to the companies who make this financially possible.
For more information contact Elena Mitchell at firstname.lastname@example.org
Of course, there would be no conference without content contributors. Anyone is welcome to submit a call for paper. Talks are 30 minutes long excluding Q and A. Workshops are45 to 90 minutes long. The majority of ada_CONF is presented in English.
Topics we welcome
- Hands on workshops for things better tried than watched
- Programming Languages
- Programing methods, patterns and principles
- Version Control Systems
- System Administration
- Free and Open Software
Out of scope are subjects around lack of diversity in tech, feminism, intersectionality or talks specifically directed towards women or trans people. ada_CONF is just like any other tech and IT-conference, just without cis-men.

Adaconf is a community event and attendance is for free. We therefore have no travel fund for speakers, but we have a vibrant community of nice people with cozy sofas.
